Hi, I’m Dr. William Wong and I am a lifelong resident of California. I grew up in the South Bay and I went on to major in Biology at the University of Southern California (class of 1985). I attended dental school at the University of California Los Angeles. After graduating in 1989, I completed a residency in Hospital Dentistry at the UCLA Medical Center. I root for both the Trojans and the Bruins and it’s only an issue when they play each other!
The UCLA Hospital Dentistry residency allowed me to further my training in the treatment of medically complex dental patients. During my residency, I was able to provide comprehensive dental treatment on patients with physical limitations, oral cancer, and dental phobia. I still consider myself an eternal student and I continue to complete courses in advanced dental esthetics, dental implants, and comprehensive dental treatments. I am currently a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and the Academy for Excellence in Dentistry, a study group that allows me to interact and learn from dentists that are at the forefront of our field.
On my time away from my dental practice, I feel blessed to spend time with my wife Silvia and our two sons. I enjoy cooking, photography, and traveling but most weekends you will most likely find me cheering for my sons at one of their soccer matches.
